6PLUS1® Multilevel Calibrator Set Immunosuppressants in Whole Blood, lyophilised

These lyophilised calibrators from Chromsystems are based on human whole blood and should be used according to the instruction manual. They are designed to calibrate the measurement method for the quantitative determination of cyclosporin A, tacrolimus, sirolimus and everolimus. While following the instructions the calibrators should be handled and measured in the same manner as research samples.
These calibrators are only available as multilevel calibrator set with 6 different concentration levels plus 1 blank value.

Please be aware that there are two Multilevel Calibrator Sets available for Immunosuppressants, the standard version and the XL variant. In level 6 of the XL variant the concentration of cyclosporin A is approximately twice as high compared to the standard version (order no. 28039/RUO). The concentrations for all other levels are equal.

The blank level is manufactured using the same matrix pool as used for the calibrator levels 1-6. It was not fortified with any immunosuppressants.

Carefully remove the metal seal and rubber stopper from the vials. (Caution when removing the metal seal: risk of injuries due to sharp cutting edges!). Add exactly 2.0 ml of distilled water into each vial. Return the stopper and incubate for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature. Swirl the vials to dissolve the contents until homogeneity.

Storage conditions

Stored below -18 °C and unopened, the lyophilised calibrators are stable until the expiry date specified on the vial labels. The reconstituted calibrators can be stored up to 1 week light protected and tightly capped at +2 to +8 C. If the calibrators cannot be used within this period, they should be aliquoted and stored frozen below -18 °C (up to 9 months). For more details about storage conditions please check your instruction manual.
