6PLUS1® Multilevel Plasma Calibrator Set for Mycophenolic Acid/Glucuronide

6PLUS1® Multilevel Plasma Calibrator Set Mycophenolic Acid/Glucuronide, lyophilised

These lyophilised calibrators from Chromsystems are based on human plasma and should be used according to the instruction manual. They are designed to calibrate the measurement method for the quantitative determination of mycophenolic acid and mycophenolic acid glucuronide. While following the instructions the calibrators should be handled and measured in the same manner as research samples.
These calibrators are only available as multilevel calibrator set with 6 different concentration levels plus 1 blank value.

Technical Data

Method of Analysis

7 x 1 ml (lyoph.)

Mycophenolic acid, Mycophenolic acid glucuronide

Please note: Concentration values shown here are typical. For lot specific concentration values please refer to the product insert supplied with the materials. The product inserts can also be requested from us directly.

Suggested values:

Substance UnitCalibrator 1Calibrator 2Calibrator 3Calibrator 4Calibrator 5Calibrator 6Blank Calibrator
Mycophenolic Acid mg/l 0.93 1.59 3.16 3.79 6.54 9.35 n.d.
Mycophenolic Acid Glucuronide mg/l 18.6 39.0 78.2 99.6 167 239 n.d.

n.d. = not determined (< LOQ)

The blank level is manufactured using the same matrix pool as used for the calibrator levels 1-6. It was not fortified.

Carefully remove the metal seal and rubber stopper from the vials. (Caution when removing the metal seal: risk of injuries due to sharp cutting edges!). Add exactly 1.0 ml of distilled water into each vial. Return the stopper and incubate for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature. Swirl the vials to dissolve the contents until homogeneity.

Storage conditions

Stored below -18 °C and unopened, the lyophilised calibrators are stable until the expiry date specified on the vial labels. The reconstituted calibrators can be stored in glass containers up to 4 weeks light protected and tightly capped at +2 to +8 C. If the calibrators cannot be used within this period, they should be aliquoted and stored frozen below -18 °C (up to 3 months). For more details about storage conditions please check your instruction manual.
