Description

6PLUS1® Multilevel Plasma Calibrator Set Free Metanephrines, lyophilised

For MassChrom® Free Metanephrines in Plasma with Sample Clean Up Columns or 96 SPE Well Filter Plates.

These Chromsystems plasma calibrators are designed for calibrating your analysis system. The lyophilised calibrators are based on plasma and should be used routinely according the assay procedure being used. They are available as Multilevel Calibrator Set only, with 6 different calibration levels and a blank. The calibrators have to be handled in the same manner as a patient specimen.

Please note that this 6PLUS1® Multilevel Calibrator Set can only be purchased in combination with the kits 81000/C or 81000.

Reconstitution

Carefully remove the rubber stopper from the vial. Add exactly 3.0 ml of distilled water into the vial. Replace the stopper and allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature. Swirl the vial to dissolve the contents until homogeneity.

Storage conditions

Stored at +2 to +8 °C unopened calibration standards are stable until the expiry date which is stated on the vial labels. The reconstituted calibration standards can be stored up to four weeks tightly capped and light protected at +2 to +8 °C. If the calibrators cannot be analysed within this period, they should be stored frozen below –18 °C (up to 3 months).
